Custom-made lighting solutions


These high performance light elements are manufactured using the tried and tested MID LDS process (laser-direct-structuring) and can be employed in many different areas. It is worth mentioning that with this product it is the first time that the LDS process has also been successfully used in medical technology.

The development of a compact LDS-MID-based LED light element only took 6 months to the start of series production and offers users, including those in the medical technology field, considerable advantages compared to the previous solution (high pressure lamp).

LEDs are being used with increasing frequency in lighting technology and fulfil a wide range of tasks. More varied possibilities for outdoor lighting have ensued amongst other things in night time cityscape design. Buildings, squares and roads can be more individually illuminated and nuanced color schemes are possible. Every city and every location can thus create its own atmosphere.

Further areas of application include vehicle lighting and the entire range of industrial electrical systems (e.g. switches, displays, control instruments). By perfectly combining MID and LED, the two technologies of the future, 2E can offer a custom-built solution for any possible application.
